Diffusing Essential Oils

drops copy

How many drops of essential oil do you use in an ultrasonic diffuser?

There is no definite answer to this question because there are several variables that could come into play:

  • Essential oil or blend
  • Brand of diffuser
  • Size of water chamber

Manufacturer instructions may vary depending on the diffuser, but the general rule of thumb is 3-5 drops of essential oils per 100 ml of water. If you find that the scent is too weak or too strong, you can adjust accordingly based upon your essential oils, blends, and room sizes. It may take a few tries for you to figure out the right number of drops of oil to add to get the effect you’re looking for with your diffuser, but the end result will be worth it!
